The Quarry Golf Course (Practice Facilities)

The practice facilities at The Quarry are about as good as they get from a public course.

The driving range can accommodate approximately 20 golfers and is a bit short compared to other local ranges, but that only inhibits your club selection on days that they have the tees up all the way. If your planning to work on your driver make sure and call ahead to verify it’s open to drivers that day.

The short game practice area is very good as well. It has 1 bunker and several undulating swells that you can chip / pitch out of onto a good rolling green. There is no rough to chip from, but like the course when your in the rough you’ll need a sickle to get out. They keep the area very manicured.

The practice green is top notch as well. Its very large and gives good indication on which way the underlying break is, so pay attention The green speed is always comparable to what you will find on the course and it rolls really well. Good location to practice your stroke. There will not be any blaming the condition of the green for your misses.
